Something.

With her bare hands,
She slowly picked up the shiny metal,
Slowly touched the sharp tip,
Slowly started moving it.

On her cheeks,
Where red now had replaced pink,
On her neck,
Where her veins felt assaulted.

Her naked shoulder blades
The coldness seeping in so fast,
On her palms,
She was changing the lines of her fate.

Inside her thighs,
Pushing it even deeper, harder,
Near her ankles,
Breaking free from the shackles.

She kept on cutting
She kept on bleeding her sighs
She wanted to feel the numbness
She wanted to feel the pain,
She just wanted to feel
Something.
